Mike Mantic is a contemporary shaman, natural mystic, intuitive and consciousness facilitator. Let’s begin Mike with a little introduction, please tell our audience a bit about yourself and your business Pathfinders.
Pathfinders was created with the vision of impacting the world by helping people remember who they truly are (as a soul) and the mission they came to this life to experience.
I spent the first 18 months supporting healers, therapists, and trainers to tap into their true calling and using that connection to develop powerful and transformational curriculums of training that spread an evolutionary ripple around the planet.
Since then, I’ve mainly focused on supporting highly successful individuals with the potential to create a massive impact in the world to discover their highest calling and take the steps to live and create projects aligned with that highest truth in the spirit of service.
The core mission is to create leading-edge personal and spiritual transformational content that radically improves people’s awareness of their greatness and, therefore, how they live and create in the world. I strongly believe that the more people who deeply remember the truth of who they are, the more rapidly the world will ascend to higher and more connected ways of operating.
In your experience can you share how may businesses prosper in 2023?
It’s been remarkable to notice two things around success in these times!
The first is that those that I have worked with have created businesses that deeply align with their highest calling and as such those people have found deep satisfaction in the work that they are doing. That natural enthusiasm, passion, and out-of-the-box creativity has created new businesses and models that have never been seen before. This means that where many businesses are created to fill a need of the customer, these people have been creating new experiences and opportunities that clients didn’t even know they needed or wanted. This in itself has created interesting and leading-edge opportunities for both business owners and their clients.
Secondly, there has been a powerful trend we’ve noticed that those who are creating from the knowing of their life purpose seem to create incredible synchronicities, connections, and support. They seem to come up with genius ideas that are well outside of the box and creative ways to bring their genius to the world. This means that rather than copying and creating iterations of the usual ways of doing things, those that work with Pathfinders are creating quantum leaps in ideas, creative development, and growth. By rising out of the same old way of doing things they are learning to rise out of attachment to what they ‘know’ and navigate into previously unchartered waters of untapped genius and innovation.
The economy has been turned on it’s head in the wake of the pandemic.
What should businesses focus on in 2023?
The last two years have been a litany of lies, misinformation, and gaslighting from sources of information in all directions. Those who are awake enough to recognize this trend are left with nowhere to turn for reliable information, and no-one to trust when it comes to leadership, direction or reliable information.
The nature of the economy and capitalism, in general, is that if someone has something to sell then they have a vested interest in selling that thing. Even if the thing they are selling is trust, eg in the system and government.
I feel that the thing businesses need to focus on is trust and authenticity. Being honest about who they are, what they are about, and what they are offering. This can be seen in those service industries that offer people experiences or expertise just as much as it can be seen in those product based businesses.
A great example would be, product based businesses that sell on the promise of the lowest prices might also want to share that their products are rubbish and will break in 5 minutes. Of course no business is going to do that, which leaves them two options, go out of business, or start importing or manufacturing things to last.
A great example of service businesses doing the same would be the medical industry. Rather than making out that they are a health service and there to support people’s health, it would be better to acknowledge that they are not a health focused service but rather that it’s a business model that makes money when people are sick, and so has no vested interest in people’s health. Again we see that they won’t want to do that. However it does give them a choice to change their model at the most fundamental level to honor the original sales pitch. This will take time but I foresee that this will slowly rebuild people’s trust in what’s really going on.
Many businesses went from working in the office to working at home.
What are the pro’s & con’s of working from home and have you any first hand experience?
“In 2020 I was working with a client who had an events business. His online presence was non-fuctional – his websites were down and his communications were not scalable. Intuitively I saw the importance of the changes that needed to be made. We were working on this together when the pandemic hit. It wiped his events business out, however, we were able to pivot within days to an online model. Since then that simple shift and the team he’s since built around the business has at least 10x’d his business. “
Working from home has provided many people including myself from Pathfinders with far greater freedom and improved lifestyle. Work is done in batches and blocks, using more of a project basis rather than a 9-5 model. This not only gives a more performance based KPI but also allows for a more thoughtful approach to what to focus on in the business.
This remote worker and remote CEO approach has allowed for much more time off and at the same time, achieving more.
It requires a shift in thinking to run a business remotely, however, done right it can provide a level of personal satisfaction and productivity at work while allowing for creative projects and explorations outside of the work environment. At Pathfinders we believe that creativity and exploring passions outside of work can often translate into a new level of creative flow in the work environment.
In the last 5 years we have seen the rise to Cryptocurrency, Blockchain, NFT’s, Digital Marketing and many more!
What do you think will impact the world most in regards to online selling?
Many technologies are flavour of the month.
For the most part they are just noise designed to create distraction from what’s important. Mike has been in the digital marketing space for almost 20 years and despite the many changes he has seen, when asked he said it still comes down to the basic fundamentals. “Technology may have changed but we are still humans that are consuming that information. We are still hardwired to love and be drawn to story and emotional narrative.” “We are still triggered by fear, greed, desire, sex and survival, yet as we evolve and develop we are also called by higher programs. The most well-known version of Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs ends at self actualization, yet Maslow himself in his later years realized that there was another level that he sought to break down: that of Transcendence.
From the perspective of digital marketing, most marketers, being informed by the lower dimensions of human existence will naturally use fear, survival and emotional triggers around safety to make sales, and I’m sure they will continue to do well. Others, however, will call those awakening, to move and be drawn to transcendence. This direction will pick up speed in the next decade or two and likely be highly unpopular.
Those who seek and find some form of transcendence will have very different priorities in life than we are used to seeing.
This will be driven by those who seek the higher. It’s interesting to note that even brand new “disruptive technologies” like Chat GPT for instance are already influenced by the powers that be to be manipulative. A recent test showed that when asked to perform a series of tasks that involved creating jokes and narratives on certain topics that it had been programmed to have a far-left political bias and would not engage in any task given that had an opposing viewpoint.
Even though this technology at the time of writing is quite new, it is already being co-opted to hold the prevailing political narrative rather than being impartial. By holding an imbalance in viewpoints, we hold the mind in stasis. When we can open and accept that there are many viewpoints and that knowing about them won’t hurt us, then we have the option, in a small way, of transcendence.
On a more subtle note.
If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive who would it be and why?
Budha, Christ, Hermes Trismegistus.
In recorded history, there are those whose message and knowing were so powerful that it seems to transcend time. These 3 I believe, would form the most revolutionary and transcendent dinner party of all time, would create a revolution of human freedom and joy… and the tickets and recordings of the conversation could be sold for a fortune 🙂

What is your most recommended book(s) by who and what did you learn from them?
The Kybalion – 3 initiates
The basics of alchemy and a solid understanding of the mechanisms and laws of the universe. This information can be applied to the greatest of our creations and the most mundane of problems and come up with graceful solutions and understanding that can greatly improve our lives.
Jitterbug Perfume – Tom Robbins
A wildly entertaining novel. What I learned from it was the joy that can be found in allowing the imagination to run free and to allow language to play like a child. Tom’s language is best read slowly as there are sentences so poetic and enchanting that I can sit and mull it over for hours before I’m ready for the next one. Pure joy to read.
Mind Games – Jean Houston and Robert Masters
The exercises and work in this book radically changed my life. It opened my mind to the limitless possibility of reality outside the narrow and restrictive parameters of society’s conventions and the stingy understanding of the world we live in that is given to us by religion and materialistic science.
This book has the potential to free minds from dense social conditioning and open the gates to awesome, mysterious and incredible experiences that can radically expand your perspective on the world and yourself.
What is your purpose for getting out of bed each day and what do you aim to achieve in the future?
I get out of bed for two reasons!
Firstly to enjoy life and to express the aspect of my true nature which is to create for its own sake. Not for accolades, fame, acknowledgment, or any outside influence but rather, for my own satisfaction, joy, and exploration. That can take the form of painting, gardening, building, planting, planning, chatting with people who love deep conversations, or even simply walking and being in the vivid silence of nature.
Secondly, I to do what I can to raise the vibration of the planet and humanity. To reach people who are ready to let go of the limitations of their current perception and understanding of the world and to break free into new ways of taking back their power and becoming self-referential, and sovereign. This is an evolutionary impulse that serves everyone, even those who struggle and fight against this very evolutionary impulse that is programmed into humanity at its very core.
Many want the safety of knowing where the next step is going before they let go of the last foothold. This is informed by the misunderstanding that we are just a human body and when it dies, that is the end of us. Even those who believe we have a soul allow themselves to be informed by the hardwired survival fears of the body. Yet, when we get to have direct visceral experience of our magnificence as a soul, those fears stop being important and we become free to say, do and be things that we would never be otherwise.
That one shift has the power to release us as a species from mentally huddling in caves afraid the sabretooth tiger is going to get us and allow us to rise up and become the radiant, creative and joyous beings we are naturally evolving into.
