“What I enjoy most about living and working in the UK is British culture. It’s rich in history and heritage, with lots of castles, churches, museums and beautiful countryside. Almost every city in the UK has It has museums, castles and history that I enjoy learning about.I love living in London.London is a wonderful multicultural city and close to almost all European countries.
When I first heard about the Global Talent Visa, I knew my skills would be perfect for the UK tech sector. Being recognized by Tech Nation and getting a visa means a lot to me. Tech Nation helped me take the first steps when I arrived. Receiving my visa gave me a lot of confidence to start my journey here.
Becoming part of the UK tech scene has been a life-changing experience. I met a lot of smart people and learned a lot of new things. After getting my Tech Nation visa, I found my first job in the UK at a company called Softbit, a cryptocurrency exchange.
One of the very special things that happened when I came to the UK was that I was chosen to be the founder. antler program. Antler is an early stage VC and generator of the world’s largest tech startup. The Antler program is divided into his two phases. In the first phase, you find co-founders, validate your ideas, and then start building your business. At the end of this phase, all teams attend his Antler investment committee. When we made our presentation, Antler chose a project I set up with two of her partners from the programme, and in pre-seed funding he raised £120,000.
The second stage is the acceleration truck, my company traction was formed. We empower startups to scale by connecting them to experienced and validated digital marketers using AI. Currently, we are still in Phase 2 and, using Antler funding, are gaining enough traction to raise a seed round.
My advice to future Tech Nation Visa applicants is to use Linkedin. Linkedin is a very easy and effective way to reach industry leaders and gain insight into the job market. People I contacted in the UK before coming here were very open to providing insight and feedback if asked gently. Also a Facebook group to find support and make connections Used. There are several private groups for visa graduates where anyone can share their experiences or ask for support.
If you’re still unsure whether to take the step or not, I think the main phrase to keep in mind is “Always do what you fear.”
