Miller Homes Southern has been granted planning permission to build 110 energy efficient homes at its new Oakley Grange development in Hampshire.
Once voted ‘Britain’s Happiest Village’, Oakleigh offers residents areas of outstanding natural beauty, picturesque villages, nature reserves and the famous Wayfarers Walk.
Boasting 5,280 square meters of green space, including kickabouts and casual play spaces, Oakley Grange is an ideal choice for a variety of buyers, including families and those looking to purchase their first home on the real estate ladder.
As part of the Section 106 (S106) agreement, Miller Homes will donate £151,000 to improve local infrastructure, including transport, environment and pedestrian enhancements. Not only this, but the contribution of approx. £2 million will be made as part of the Community Infrastructure Tax (CIL).
Katrina Crawford, sales and marketing director for Miller Homes Southern, said: Oakley Grange has a lot to offer potential residents and we look forward to seeing developments take shape in the coming months.
“Besides building beautiful homes, we are committed to creating more employment opportunities for locals and are pleased to announce that this development will create many new job and apprenticeship opportunities.”
