valo arena is a unique Augmented Reality (AR) play space that lets you interact with a variety of multiplayer games without the need for a headset. Instead of motion controllers, you and up to five other players use your own bodies to interact with the virtual world. Jump over obstacles, avoid crumbling floors, and even ride on your friends’ backs.
Earlier this week, Valo Motion announced yet another AR game set in an immersive indoor arena. Astro Bladea futuristic multiplayer experience inspired by sci-fi classics Star WarsPlayers are split into two teams and battle using laser swords, shields, and double-sided blades to score points and obliterate enemies.
Valo Motion said in an official release: “of Astro Blade, the actions of other players directly affect what the player should do next. This six-player game of his is very social and as such we consider it a great addition to ValoArena’s gaming offerings. ”
“We also wanted to deliver all of this in a safe and non-violent way, so we took special care to make the game safe for younger players,” they added. “We want players to feel like fighting game superheroes and be able to come up with their own special moves without limits.”
