Twitter CEO Elon Musk announced on Thursday that he had named his successor as CEO, but it didn’t take long for the person’s identity to be confirmed. Less than a day later, Musk confirmed that NBCUniversal’s head of advertising sales, Linda Yaccarino, would take over the role. Yaccarino will assume his new role in about six weeks, and “will focus primarily on business operations, while I will focus on product design and new technology,” Musk wrote.
Yaccarino is known as an “industry advocate for finding better ways to measure the effectiveness of advertising,” according to. wall street journal. Yaccarino’s work at NBCU includes a close partnership with Twitter. This was recently extended to the 2024 Olympics, where a video of the event will be hosted on his Twitter. Yaccarino tweeted to Musk around the time news broke about the new partnership between the two companies. “Hey @elonmusk, here’s our new partnership idea: Periscope for Paris 2024. Let’s go hi-res first,” Yaccarino wrote.

The PlayStation VR2 is now widely available after a two-month exclusivity period in Sony’s direct-to-consumer storefronts. The company said last month that this would happen, but didn’t set an official date or say which retailers would offer the headset. Okay, now I get it. PSVR2 is available at Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy and other small retailers.

The first M3 chips are reportedly coming later this year.
according to bloombergAccording to Mark Gurman of Apple, Apple is testing the M3 chipset with a 12-core processor and an 18-core GPU. He speculates that the M3 variant Apple is testing is his M3 Pro at the base level, which the company plans to release sometime next year. In particular, the M3 line is expected to utilize TSMC’s upcoming 3nm node process. The transition from 5nm to 3nm would likely explain the increase in core density. Before we look at the pro chips, though, we’d expect Apple to announce a standard M3 chip first.
