Be prepared to deal with clattering things on the big screen at night.a The movie is due out later this year, and Universal Pictures has released its first teaser. This clip may not come as much of a surprise to those used to his FNaF games full of jump scares, but it captures the aesthetic well enough.
It focuses on the character played by Josh Hutcherson starting a new job as a night security guard at a family entertainment center. But Freddy Fazbear’s animatronics pose a terrifying threat to anyone remaining inside the building after the door closes. The animatronics seem on point, which isn’t much of a shock considering Jim Henson’s Creature Shop brought them to life.
Five Nights at Freddy’s opens in theaters and Peacock on October 27. If you can’t wait that long and just want to see a movie about a possessed animatronic carnage, check it out. . Both the concept and Nicholas Cage are similar, and you can enjoy it enough.
