- Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is set to announce his presidential campaign on Wednesday.
- He already has the support of several lawmakers.
- But most Republicans on the Florida legislative delegation already support Trump.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will announce his 2024 presidential campaign Wednesday night.
DeSantis, the most formidable challenger to former President Donald Trump to date, is launching his campaign in the Capitol with the support of a minority of Republicans.
