Disney seeks to create real-life magic through its partnership with Apple.
At the recent Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple unveiled the highly anticipated Apple Vision Pro, a mixed reality headset that will launch early next year. And while most of the attention at the event was focused on productivity, Disney’s CEO Bob Iger revealed that the company’s streaming service, Disney+, will be available on headsets at launch. Did.

Additionally, the company showed a video demonstrating that Disney+ users can use Vision Pro to watch sports games. One example shown was a regular 2D soccer game with a widget-like interface that displayed various information such as score and win percentage. Another experience was watching a basketball game in 3D on a coffee table.
Disney CEO Bob Iger said during Apple’s WWDC 2023 keynote on Monday, “We are committed to delighting our fans by combining extraordinary creativity and breakthrough technology to create truly amazing experiences. Partnering with Disney is a big boost to the development of the XR headset. Iger said Disney and Apple are working together to bring “real-life magic” to consumers through the use of technology.
