As the CEO of Get Me Moving and Co-Founder of The Finance Mob, my primary goal has always been to bring innovation to traditional sectors, specifically conveyancing and finance. I am driven by a desire to simplify complex processes, making them more accessible and efficient for everyone involved. In both ventures, we leverage technology to bridge gaps, improve communication, and enhance overall customer experience.
2021 and 2022 has been a tough year for business around the globe.
In your experience can you share how businesses prosper in 2023?
In my experience, the businesses that will likely prosper in 2023 are those that embrace change and pivot towards the digital landscape. The past couple of years have shown us how crucial it is to be adaptable. Businesses need to invest in their employees’ skills, focus on digital transformation, and develop strategies that foster resilience. The lessons from the recent challenges should serve as a blueprint for navigating future uncertainties.
The economy has been turned on its head in the wake of the pandemic.
What should businesses focus on in 2023?
In 2023, businesses should focus on three key areas: customer retention, digital innovation, and sustainability. The pandemic has underscored the importance of maintaining strong customer relationships and being able to deliver services digitally. Moreover, sustainability is no longer just a buzzword but a business imperative that consumers increasingly demand.
Many businesses went from working in the office to working at home.
What are the pros & cons of working from home in your experience?
Working from home offers several benefits, including flexibility, reduced commuting stress, and often higher productivity levels. However, it also presents challenges such as the blurring of boundaries between work and personal life, and the potential for isolation. At

How can business owners combat the rise of inflation and what have you done that you can share?
Inflation is a complex issue that requires strategic planning and operation. Businesses might consider focusing on cost control, improving operational efficiency, and exploring new revenue streams. It’s also important to stay informed about economic trends and adjust pricing strategies as needed.

What do you think will impact the world most in regards to online selling?
I believe that technologies like blockchain and cryptocurrencies could revolutionize online transactions. They offer unparalleled transparency, security, and speed. These technologies could significantly reshape the e-commerce landscape as they continue to evolve.

If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive who would it be and why?
If given the chance, I’d love to have dinner with Elon Musk, Warren Buffett, and Nelson Mandela. Musk embodies the spirit of innovation, constantly pushing boundaries in tech and space exploration. Buffett is a testament to wise investment and financial acumen, while Mandela’s leadership and resilience in face of adversity are inspirational.
Reading is still one of the most popular ways to learn anything.
What is your most recommended book(s) by who and what did you learn from them?
One book that I find incredibly insightful is “The Lean Startup” by Eric Ries. It presents a new approach to business that’s about learning what your customers really want and learning it quickly. It’s a must-read for anyone interested in startups or innovation in business.
What is your purpose for getting out of bed each day and what do you aim to achieve in the future?
My purpose for getting out of bed daily is to make a difference through my work. I strive to create solutions that simplify processes and improve people’s lives. Looking ahead, I aim to continue growing our companies, exploring new opportunities in the tech space, and hopefully inspiring others along the way.
