According to this week’s release notes: discovered by an Android reporterAccording to Google, movie tickets and boarding passes will now automatically appear after purchase as long as the confirmation email arrives in the user’s Gmail inbox. The feature may not work on all theater chains or airlines yet, but Google says it’s available in “some” and more should be added over time.
Google is making small adjustments to Wallet to make it more useful. Last month, the company made it easier for Android smartwatch users to access their tickets from their wrist. This includes boarding passes, event tickets, gym memberships, loyalty cards, etc. According to the latest release notes, Google has also added a way for users to manually archive most of their passes from their smartphone or smartwatch. These have been moved to a section called “Archived Paths” where users can undo their actions if they make a mistake or need to refer to an old path.
