Humane’s AI Pin (“”) isn’t selling as well as everyone despises it, according to internal sales documents released by Humane. The VergeTo make matters worse, returns appear to be outstripping purchases. The company once hoped to sell 100,000 units in its first year, but only about 7,000 are in circulation. Reviews cited problems with reliability, slowness in handling requests, price, and poor battery life. Product longevity may be even worse.

It’s a big improvement (albeit at a big cost).
The Fujifilm X-T50 is a big improvement over the X-T30 II, with a higher-resolution sensor, in-body image stabilization, and upgraded video capabilities. However, its high price ($5,000 more than the X-T30) makes it hard to recommend. And it’s possible that the X-T30 II will see a big price cut in the near future. Read on for the full review.

The password “snap” is useless to Thanos.
A few months ago, Disney promised to crack down on password sharing, targeting account sharing in Canada late last year and beginning to crack down in select other countries in June, and it plans to expand that effort in the coming weeks. In an interesting twist of timing, this expanded password-sharing crackdown comes just before Disney is set to raise its streaming prices again.
The company also appears set to begin rolling out what it calls “continuous playlists,” essentially cable-style channels that stream around the clock, which could boost viewership and keep them glued to current reruns of Star Wars and Marvel movies for longer.

Balatro, a surreal card game vaguely related to poker, is set to get its first major gameplay update in 2025. Developer LocalThunk promises that it will bring “new ideas and strategies to the game.” What’s more, it will be a free update “as a huge token of appreciation to the game’s talented and passionate community.” This is the first of three Balatro announcements/surprises that LocalThunk and publisher Playstack will be rolling out this summer. Hopefully, one of them will be a mobile version.
