Why did you start blogging and who does your blog help?

I started blogging as my side hustle while working full-time as a lawyer because I wanted to pay off my huge law school student loan debt of $150,000. Plus blogging afforded me the opportunity to help thousands of entrepreneurs at a time instead of helping one client at a time in my legal practice.

How you grew the traffic to a point and how it makes money?

For traffic, I focused on Pinterest and Google SEO. Pinterest is a great source of organic traffic to your blog and with the right tips and pinning strategies, you can expect to see traffic fairly quickly.

Google SEO takes a little longer but it’s more stable traffic and by focusing on both, I was able to gain traction quickly. I also have my own Facebook group of 5000+ entrepreneurs and a big email list, so I often share new blog posts and tips with them there, which helps increase traffic to my site as well.

What do you teach and how can people gain from your sessions?

I made six-figures in my first year of blogging and took my blog from 0 to making over $60,000 a month, which also allowed me to quit my 9 to 5 job as a lawyer.

Because of my success with blogging, tons of other bloggers and entrepreneurs reached out to me seeking help with their blogs and monetization.

Lastly, through my blog coaching, I help bloggers make money quickly by sharing the tips and tricks that worked for me.

Have you ever faced difficult times and what did you do to overcome them?

Yes, with any business, you will face some obstacles and challenges in the beginning. But the key is to never give up and remember that it’s all part of the learning process.

In the beginning, when I was blogging with my full-time job, it was very tough to find the time to do everything, and I experienced burnout on many occasions. I also faced tons of technology challenges and had to learn a lot by investing in proper business courses and education to avoid making mistakes.

But I always keep in mind the famous quote, “every entrepreneur was once an amateur”. As entrepreneurs, we are bound to make mistakes and face difficult times but we can overcome them with a positive mindset and never quitting attitude.

I knew failure was never an option for me, so if something didn’t work the first time, I would try again with a different approach and take the time to learn from other successful entrepreneurs who had already achieved the success I desired.

I love Amy Porterfield and Tony Robbins.

What legacy will Amira Irfan leave to the world?

My dad’s business was sued for $90,000 because he made the legal mistake of not using a contract with the person he had hired.

This had devastating effects on my dad, his business, and our family as a whole.

Since then, I’ve committed my life to help others AVOID this preventable mistake. That’s why I became a lawyer.

Many of us think that because our businesses only exist online, there’s no need to invest in legal protection.

But that couldn’t be further from the truth!

Without proper legal protection, your business is at risk of being fined or even worse, sued.
