Amazon may have stopped expanding the scope of layoffs.Amazon chief Andy Jassy sent a note It told employees it would cut another 9,000 jobs “in the next few weeks.” The cuts will primarily affect Twitch, advertising, and cloud computing divisions such as Amazon Web Services, according to the message. has warned that it will not notify affected employees until then.
