Three months after informing Tesla employees about layoffs affecting tens of thousands of people, Elon Musk said the company now has open jobs, and a new analysis breaks down what those jobs are and where they are located.
On Monday, Musk said Post to X Tesla and his AI startup xAI, which competes with ChatGPT, said they are looking for network engineers and technicians.

The open positions may reflect where Musk wants Tesla to go, as he said in an April interview. Earnings Report He sees Tesla as more of an AI and robotics company than an EV company.

The new list may also include areas hard hit by job cuts earlier this year. Most of the jobs are located in Palo Alto, CA, but there are also openings in Fremont, CA; Las Vegas, CA; Austin, TX; and Sparks, NV.
