“Pharmabro” Martin Shkreli has been ordered by a federal judge in Brooklyn to give up his copy of Wu-Tang Clan’s one and only album, “Once Upon a Time in Shaolin.” The news was first reported by Artnet.
Shkreli famously purchased the only surviving album from iconic Staten Island rappers Wu-Tang Clan for $2 million in 2015. One of the conditions Shkreli had to adhere to in purchasing the album was that It has not been replicated for at least 88 years.Based on copyright law.

Pleather DAO Sued Shkreli In June, he was arrested after complaints that he had bragged online about sending CD copies of the album to various women, but the purchase contract forbade any reproductions, making it a violation if copies existed.

According to the judgeAccording to a citation from PleasrDAO general counsel Steven Cooper, Shkreli has until September to submit a detailed report of what copies were made, when and to whom, including financial benefits and the identities of the recipients.
Yet while Shkreli bragged online, including on livestreams, and alluded to copies of the MP3s hidden around the world, no concrete evidence of these fictitious copies was ever produced.
