Gamers are used to late seasons, but Division 2 Players are in a particularly sticky situation. Ubisoft has revealed that a development “error” broke the shared world shooter’s build generation system, preventing the studio from updating the game. Not only are teams unable to introduce new seasons that they postponed last week, they also can’t extend the seasons they submit until they repair their build functionality.
Ubisoft says it’s “on track” to fix the issue over the past few days, giving hints that a solution may be in sight.the company is in the middle I’m using downtime to fix it in the 3 hour “unscheduled maintenance” session at the time of writing this problem This includes the inability to make seasonal in-game purchases. If all goes well, the server should be back online around 1:00 PM ET.
The timing of this issue is particularly bad. Ubisoft recently canceled three of his games in response to declining revenue, and workers at the Paris studio went on strike last month to protest what they claimed were unfair working conditions. Things haven’t been going smoothly at the publisher and it could be a while before there is some stability.
