Like many other PC and phone makers, Lenovo will be exhibiting at MWC Barcelona this week to share details about its plans for the rest of the year. The company’s 2023 lineup includes refreshed ThinkPad laptops and ThinkCentre monitors, but perhaps the most interesting announcement concerns his IdeaPad Duet 3i.
Lenovo updates its Windows 11 2-in-1 to add a larger 11.5-inch IPS panel with 2,000 x 1,200 resolution, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and 400 nits peak brightness. The new model also gets upgraded 5- and 8-megapixel front and rear cameras, and Intel’s N200 processor. The 4-core, 4-thread processor features a boost clock of up to 3.7 GHz. IdeaPads can be configured with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. It also comes with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, and with the option to pair the device with a stylus, Lenovo says his IdeaPad Duet 3i is perfect for students. The 2-in-1 will arrive in Europe later this year and will cost €449 (about $473).

Lenovo is also updating its affordable IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook line. The company offers a 14-inch laptop with three different display options. At the top of the stack is a Full HD model with an IPS panel that offers 100% sRGB coverage and 300 nits of brightness. Another his FHD model comes with a TN panel up to 250 nits. And for those who want to spend as little as possible on their next computer purchase, Lenovo also offers his 1,366 x 768 option. The IdeaPad Slim 3 can be configured with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of eMMC storage. A modest MediaTek Kompanio 520 processor powers everything, according to Lenovo, and his latest Chromebook runs for up to 13.5 hours on a single charge. The company expects the IdeaPad Slim 3 to start at $340 when it launches in May.

It can be configured with DDR5 RAM and 2 TB of internal storage. Lenovo offers his two screen options with the Z13. You can use an IPS panel or a 2.8K OLED. Both displays feature a 16:10 aspect ratio and 400 nits peak brightness. On the Z16, on the other hand, your options are somewhere between an IPS panel and a 4K OLED. Both computers support WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1, and Lenovo is able to equip the Z13 with an optional casing made partially from plant fibers. The ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 will be available in July starting at $1,249. Lenovo plans to start selling the ThinkPad Z16 Gen 2 in a month. Prices start at $1,749.
