Binance CEO Changpeng “CZ” Zhao has denied rumors that he was “shot” by US federal law enforcement in a recent tweet.

Harry Denley, Security Analyst at Metamask, replied to CZ Tweet On March 4, he likened the event to a false rumor that circulated in 2017 about Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin that he had “died in a car accident.”
Denley called the rumor “an adaptation of an attempt to manipulate the market in 2023,” suggesting that CZ will perform “proof of life” on the latest Binance Smart Chain (BSC) block hash.
