Jeremy Hunt announces Wednesday’s budget will expand free childcare for UK 1- and 2-year-olds by £4 billion.
The plan will extend the entitlement of 30 hours per week, currently only available to children aged 3 and 4, to parents of children aged 1 and 2 in the UK. Guardian first reported.
