Former U.S. President Donald Trump has called on his supporters to protest, saying he was set to be arrested Tuesday in a hush-money investigation into Stormy Daniels.
Trump, who has started his third campaign at the White House, could be indicted in the coming days.
If done, it would be the first time a criminal case has been filed against a former US president.
The case centers around a $130,000 (£107,000) hush-money paid by former lawyer Michael Cohen to porn star Daniels on behalf of Mr Trump before the 2016 presidential election.
Here’s a rundown of the Stormy Daniels case:
Who is Stormy Daniels?
She is a porn star who claims to have had an affair with Donald Trump.
Daniels claimed she met Trump at a golf tournament in 2006 and had sex in his hotel room.
In 2011 she gave an interview, in touch every week But they didn’t publish the story after receiving legal threats from Trump’s then-lawyer, Michael Cohen, according to CBS News. 60 minutes report.
Rumors of alleged affairs between Daniels and Trump surfaced before the 2016 presidential election.

Why is Donald Trump likely to be indicted?
A hush fee of $130,000 was allegedly paid a month before the 2016 presidential election, and experts say it could amount to campaign violations.
Cohen initially denied paying Daniels. Then, in February 2018, he said he paid Daniels but used his own funds, claiming neither Trump nor the presidential campaign was involved.
However, Cohen, who gave sworn testimony in August 2018, admitted that Trump asked Daniels to pay $130,000 in hush money.
He also said what he said was evidence of the alleged return of hush money from Trump to him.
Mr Trump admitted to returning the money to Mr Cohen but denied any wrongdoing with election law.
However, according to Cohen’s reimbursement records, the payment was for “legal costs.”
This could be viewed by prosecutors as falsifying business records, a misdemeanor in New York.
Cohen was jailed on multiple counts after pleading guilty to violating the law during the 2016 presidential election.
