An unreleased version of David Bowie’s ‘Let’s Dance’ is now available as part of a limited edition collection of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT).

Gala Music, a subsidiary of Web3 startup Gala Games, has teamed up with music producer Larry Dvoskin and publisher Warner Chappell Music to produce David Bowie’s 1983 track, ‘The Musical’, as part of NFT’s limited edition collection. Released an unreleased version of Let’s Dance. Announcement Thursday, March 6th.

David Bowie has amassed an impressive discography that includes 27 studio albums, 11 live albums, 4 soundtracks and 128 singles during his lifetime. But despite his passing in 2016, the singer-songwriter still has at least one unheard track.

Gala Music will launch 3,003 NFTs showcasing Bowie-inspired artwork on April 14, 40 years after the original release of “Let’s Dance.” With Bowie in 2002.

NFTs can be purchased on a “pay-what-you-wish” basis, with the first proceeds from sales going to support the charity MusiCares, which provides health and wellness services to individuals in the music industry.

Next week’s release isn’t the first time the Bowie Estate has ventured into blockchain technology.Last September, the Bowie Estate cooperated We have worked with the OpenSea marketplace to introduce a collection of NFTs called “Bowie on the Blockchain” aimed at raising charitable funds. However, the collection faced significant criticism from Bowie supporters, who saw the foray into blockchain as going against the artist’s principles and beliefs.

Gala Games is primarily known for its Web3 games initiative, which allows developers to create play-to-earn cryptocurrency and NFT games, but also has a growing interest in music and movies.
