Mike Gallagher, a Wisconsin Republican and chairman of the House Select Committee charged with assessing strategic competition between the United States and China, said at a meeting with Silicon Valley leaders last week that China’s artificial intelligence said he was “cautiously optimistic” about the U.S.’s willingness to stem the flow of U.S. dollars. .
