Tech giants around the world are working to realize the idea of ​​using generative artificial intelligence (AI) to assist humans in their daily lives, but the risk of misuse of the nascent technology remains imminent. I’m here. Given this possibility, Tesla and his Twitter chief Elon Musk reminded people that AI could destroy civilization.

Plans to create Musk’s new AI startup surfaced on March 15 after the entrepreneur reportedly assembled a team of AI researchers and engineers. But Musk continues to emphasize the destructive potential of AI, like any technology, if it is developed or developed with malicious intent.

According to Musk, AI can be dangerous. In an interview with FOX, he said AI could be more dangerous than, say, mismaintaining aircraft design or production. While acknowledging the unlikely, he said:

“No matter how small you think the chances are, it’s not trivial and could destroy civilization.”

When Crypto Twitter picked up the discussion, Musk strongly supported his statement.

“Anyone who thinks this risk is 0% is an idiot.”

Tech entrepreneurs like Bill Gates, on the other hand, are more optimistic about AI and its positive impact on humanity.

On April 13th, Amazon became the latest tech giant to join the race to create AI services. Amazon Bedrock allows users to build and scale generative AI apps.

According to the blog post announcing the service, Bedrock allows users to “privately customize the underlying models with their own data and easily integrate and deploy them into their applications.”
