Now, in a teary-eyed video that has more than 57,800 views, a Trader Joe employee is praised by shoppers for an unexpected act of kindness that turned her day around.
TikToker’s Danielle Blakey tearfully told viewers that she would only shop at Trader Joe’s grocery store from now on, and after a “really tough couple of days,” she went to the store in the evening to pick up some groceries. “I’m usually good at hiding my feelings,” she explains to viewers. “Obviously I wasn’t tonight.”
Later, Blakey says he could sense that the cashier knew something was wrong when he went to pay for the groceries.

Blakey then showed the bouquet the cashier had brought and said he was overwhelmed with emotion and began to “cry” in the store.
“I shop at Trader Joe’s because I literally love everyone who works there,” she said. not.”
Social media users flooded the posts with positive comments and their own stories about memorable interactions with employees of the grocery store chain.
“It’s so sweet. I hope it brightens your days,” said one person.
“My son works at TJ’s and being able to make guests feel watched makes him feel like he’s doing a good deed,” another gushed. As such, I couldn’t be more proud.”
Blakey said the incident occurred at a location on Greenville Street in Dallas, Texas.
Earlier this month, another TikTok went viral showing a Trader Joe’s employee prepaying for a refrigeration system inside a store in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, that failed. Instead of throwing away perishables, an employee offered in-store shoppers her $2,000+ free food.
Trader Joe’s is a California-based grocery chain that operates approximately 560 locations in the United States.
