According to a new book about former prime ministers, Michael Gove compared Dominic Cummings’ relationship with Boris Johnson to Jeeves’ relationship with Worcester and “the chief guardian who takes care of an inexperienced king.”

Sir Anthony’s book describes a deeply distrustful and jealous relationship between the then Prime Minister and Mr. Cummings.
“After the election, Boris no longer wanted to be treated as a fierce thoroughbred with a powerful whip and reins to keep order. Some days I was able to laugh it off, some days I didn’t,” Gove said.
The book portrays Cummings as playing a key role in Prime Minister Sajid Javid’s resignation.
Mr Johnson has come to feel that he is being bypassed by his advisers by officials who report to Mr Cummings and Mr Kane instead of the prime minister. 10 year old johnson.
