Most food delivery apps require the driver to take a photo of the delivery to prove that the order has been completed.
But one DoorDash driver in California said, cheat the system I took pictures of the pizzas he “delivered” and then stole them after the pictures were taken.
An Oakland business owner, who requested anonymity, said he ordered pizza to cheer his employees up.
Video footage shows a driver taking a pizza out of a blue sedan, placing it on the door of the shop and taking a picture. The driver then picked up the pizza and returned it to the car. He probably stole it himself.
“We take this report very seriously and are investigating it urgently,” a DoorDash representative said in a statement to the local outlet. KTVU“A dasher found to have stolen food faces consequences including disabling.”

The name of the business has not been disclosed, but the owner claims: KTVU The incident was another blow in a string of attacks on businesses, including a robbery that “stole about $500 of product” and a drive through a building.
