Ford CEO Jim Farley has a message for Elon Musk’s Tesla. “I can’t sleep at night because of your flashy new Cybertruck.”

The launch of Tesla’s first electric truck, the Cybertruck, has been delayed since Musk first announced it in 2019. But Musk made it clear to investors at an earnings call last April that EVs would be ready by the end of the year.

Terrsa is keen to enter the EV truck market.The pickup truck was American Best-selling vehicles in 2022, with Ford’s F-series leading the way. But Tesla dominates the EV market.
It’s still unclear how similar the Cybertruck and the F-150 Lightning are.according to business insider, the Cybertruck is estimated to sell for around $50,000, while the F-150 Lightning has a list price of $60,000.some have ccompared to Cybertruck I prefer GMC Hummers over Ford pickup trucks.

Ford to use Tesla charging stations
Despite Farley’s harsh words for Tesla, the two companies recently agreed to a partnership on charging stations. Ford drivers will have access to more than 12,000 Tesla Superchargers across the U.S. and Canada by 2024.
Asked if that would be a conflict of interest, Mr. Farley said, “It’s okay to be opportunistic when it comes to helping customers.”
He added that Mr. Musk was friendly during the negotiations. “I owe more to Henry Ford than to Jim Farley.”
