Just weeks after a terrifying video of the Carnival Sunshine cruise ship being hit by a storm off the coast of Charleston, South Carolina, was circulated online, footage showed another cruise ship rocking in bad weather. discussed above.
In a video that currently has over 4 million views, TikToker’s Lucas Sparrow shows the Independence of the Seas ship leaving Port Canaveral in the middle of a storm. . The chaotic footage shows strong winds and rain raging, people screaming, furniture being scattered, and passengers falling and struggling to get back up.

“There was no announcement from the captain before or after, and no mention of what happened,” Sparrow wrote in the caption. “Act as if nothing happened.”
Some commenters felt horrified, while others admitted to feeling guilty while laughing at the misfortunes of others.
One person wrote, “Thank you for confirming why I never cruise.”
“Why go on a cruise during hurricane season,” another pointed out.
Royal Caribbean Cruises was scheduled to leave for the Bahamas around 4pm on Friday.
Witness Jen Stancil told local media that she was “really freaked out”. Fox 35. “It was like a scene from the movie ‘Twister,’ because you can see the chairs flying in the air.”
Other witnesses also posted videos of themselves on Twitter showing the storm and the chaos on board.

Royal Caribbean did not immediately respond. entrepreneurA comment was requested by and was confirmed by Fox 35 The statement said the ship had “encountered a sudden gust of wind” that lasted for a “short time” and that no serious injuries were reported on board.
Thankfully, the ship made it safely to its destination, Cococay Island, off the coast of Nassau in the Bahamas, completing a three-day itinerary.
