The FAA’s attempt to be cheeky on Twitter didn’t exactly meet customer complaints.
The FAA tweeted a timely joke on Tuesday that spelled out “unruly passengers” using a photo of the “Wheel of Fortune” and said there was “nothing mysterious about the bad behavior on board.” rice field.

The FAA then tagged Ryan Seacrest, who was named the new host of “Wheel of Fortune” earlier this week, to join the conversation.
But social media users were outraged at the agency for making the joke during a difficult year of mass cancellations and delays. It’s also a particularly controversial time for travelers heading into the holiday season, with storms and other problems already holding some passengers at major hubs like Denver and New York.
Not surprisingly, Twitter users voiced their displeasure.
