Elon Musk’s Twitter rebrand appears to be in the works. In a series of tweets late Saturday night, Musk said the company’s famous bird logo and name would soon be discontinued. The company appears to be known simply as “X”.
“And very soon we will be saying goodbye to the Twitter brand and, gradually, all birds,” he said. .He later said on Twitter Twitter’s logo will change on Sunday. “I should have done it a long time ago. It’s a shame it took so long,” he said.

Later that night, he reportedly emailed employees about the change.according to platformer’s In an email to staff, Musk said the company would become X, and that his memo “was the last email he sent from his Twitter email address.”
Twitter did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
It’s long been known that Mr. Musk likes the “X” branding. The start-up bank he co-founded in 1999 is called his x.com, and his recently announced Ai venture is called he is.And Twitter’s holding company was rammed by X Corp . Musk also talked about how X helps his Twitter. Musk has given little specifics about this vision, but many believe he’s referring to apps like WeChat, China’s most popular app. WeChat is an app that people use for social networking as well as for various daily activities such as payments and shopping.
Still, formally abandoning the Twitter brand could be a risky move for Musk.The company is already facing further losses Company advertising revenue. A rebrand could push advertisers further away. At the same time, Musk may be betting that the new name and identity might help the company cut ties to the previous management team and the decisions made under them, both of which he has been deeply critical of.
