- Hey Twitter people. Admit it. The X logo is cool.
- Musk and Yaccarino projected the new logo onto the side of the company’s San Francisco office building.
- Mourn the Blue Bird now, but get used to the new X. Not too bad.
Hey Twitter people. I know you miss the blue bird, but the new X logo isn’t too bad.
Elon Musk, owner of the rebranded Bird App, has rolled out a new logo for his company and, in the process, has completed a step toward realizing his long-held vision of building a tech empire named ‘X’. It’s the culmination of a dream that blossomed during the PayPal Mafia years, after which he may or may not have named his son after Grimes.
Many feared that the bird logo would be discontinued, renamed to ‘X’, and replaced with an ugly or incomprehensible logo. After all, we live in a world that: Gabby the Gab Frog exists. MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell’s Frank He has a giant F that acts as a bat signal to social as well.
Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino unveiled the new X logo at around 2am ET Monday morning, in an incomprehensible time to proceed with a major rebranding of one of the world’s largest social media platforms.
That being said, the logo is lovely. It has clean lines and millennial simplicity, the core tenets of branding in the usual tech industry. It’s not breaking new ground, but honestly, do you care?
Yaccarino and Musk are not. They liked it so much that they projected it onto the side of their headquarters.
On the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, several people mourning the death of the blue bird. Others took a more neutral stance that they would miss the birds but would. get used to it.
new look fan Said it gave it a “minimalist Art Deco” feel. Also, some people really hate rebranding. They say they want to leave the platform.
Either way, it could have been worse. Goodbye Twitter Bird. I’ll miss you Hello X. whatever you are.
