Microsoft is Announcing an eraser equipped with generation AI For photos, you can easily remove unwanted elements from your photos. The company says Generative Erase is an enhancement to Windows Photos, which has long had a spot-height tool that lets you delete parts of images. Apparently, this new tool can create “more seamless and realistic” results even when large objects such as bystanders or background clutter are removed from the image.
If you recall, Google and Samsung both have their own versions of AI eraser tools on their mobile devices. Google was only available on newer Pixel smartphones until it was rolled out to older models. However, Microsoft’s version allows you to access the AI-powered Photo Eraser on your desktop or laptop computer. To start using this feature, simply launch the image editor with your photo.[消去]Simply select an option and use the brush to create a mask over the elements you want to remove. You can also adjust the brush size to help select thinner or thicker objects. You can also choose to highlight multiple elements before erasing all elements.
However, access to generative erasure is currently quite limited. This has not yet been widely released and is only available if you are a Windows Insider through the Photos app in Windows 10 and Windows 11 on Arm64 devices.
