Numerous companies in the technology, media, finance, and retail industries made significant layoffs in 2023. Technology giants such as IBM, Google and Microsoft, financial giants such as Goldman Sachs, and manufacturing companies such as Dow have all announced job cuts.
The situation will be difficult in 2024 as well. And it’s only March.
