Landlords, flat owners, tenants, households and businesses that park on the street have a year left to be able to claim hundreds of pounds for every charging point installed.
Most of the financial incentives still available from the Office of Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) will end on March 31, 2025.
The scheme is designed to encourage the uptake of EVs at a time when electric vehicle purchase subsidies have long since disappeared, while plug-in van and truck subsidies offer purchase discounts for individuals and organizations and will be available for purchase by March 2025. It will run until the 31st of the month.

Grants with a duration of one year are:
Charge points and infrastructure subsidies for landlords: For 100 residential and commercial properties, up to 200 per socket per year, up to £350 per socket. The infrastructure grant for the extensive works required to install multiple charging points is £500 per parking space for charging points currently installed or to be installed in the future.
For renters or apartment owners: It costs up to £350 to install a charging point in a dedicated off-street parking space.
Households with street parking: Up to £350 will apply to EV drivers who have a pedestrian crossing solution in place that allows them to use a home charging point for an EV parked on the street outside their home.
Workplace charging system: We offer businesses, charities and public sector employers up to £350 per charging socket, up to a total of 40 sockets across each applicant’s site.detail
State-funded educational institutions: Save 75% on the purchase and installation cost of charging points up to £2,500 per socket, up to 40 sockets across all sites.
Infrastructure grants for staff and vehicles: For extensive construction work now and in the future to install multiple charging point sockets. Up to £350 per installed charging point socket, up to £500 per active parking space, up to £15,000.
