Apple’s “Let Loose” iPad event is just over a week away, and the rumors leading up to it are starting to get interesting.according to bloomberg‘s mark garman, the long-awaited OLED iPad Pro may arrive with the next-generation M4 instead, rather than the new M3 chip we were expecting.inside power on Garman wrote in Sunday’s newsletter that he “hears there is a strong possibility” that this will happen. And he says it will mark Apple’s formal entry into AI.
“I believe Apple will position the tablet as its first true AI-powered device and will promote all future new products as such,” Garman wrote. Doing so at the May 7th event would set Apple up to go all-in on AI at June’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). This is all based on Gurman’s ideas. previous report Apple is reportedly in discussions with OpenAI and Google about the possibility of leveraging their AI technology for new features in iOS 18.
The “Let Loose” product showcase will also include updates to iPad accessories such as the iPad Air, Magic Keyboard, and Apple Pencil. According to Gurman, the next Apple Pencil may include haptic feedback.
