Liverpool Council has now secured a banning order against the company, which applies across England.
Rental agents are currently prohibited from offering new rental contracts until at least April 2028.
Earlier this month, Trophy Homes was hit with a claim of more than £250,000 for failing to obtain a license for an HMO property.
Louise Harford, Liverpool City Council’s interim housing director, said: “We will always work with landlords and letting agents in the city, but we will always take action where necessary to keep our tenants safe. “I will.”
“It is very disappointing that Trophy Homes has not fulfilled its responsibility to take agents seriously and this ban will give them significant time to get their homes in order.
“The granting of this order sends a further signal that the council’s private housing team will not tolerate landlords and letting agents who ignore their legal obligations.”
