The latest Assassin’s Creed game is coming to iPhone and iPad soon. Assassin’s Creed Mirageis a 2023 edition set in 9th century Baghdad and will be available on June 6th for iPhone 15 Pro series and iPad with M series chips.
Ubisoft said the mobile version of the AAA title offers “the same experience as the console version” but with adapted touchscreen controls. IGN report Ubisoft has announced that it has confirmed that the mobile game will support MFi hardware controllers such as the Backbone One and Razer Kiyo Ultra.
Ubisoft says Assassin’s Creed Mirage It supports cross-progression and cross-save via Ubisoft Connect, so you can pick up where you left off regardless of platform. The game was released in October for PC, PS5/4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
Engadget’s Chris Holt called Assassin’s Creed Mirage a return to form for the series, trading the RPG elements that have become more prominent in recent years for the series’ roots in stealth and action. He said, “The deeper you get into it, the more Assassin’s Creed Mirage, so much so that a warm sense of nostalgia washed over me,” Holt writes. “It felt like a comforting hug from an old friend. A comforting bloody embrace.”
