New Stockport-based real estate and lettings agency Property Sense has opened its doors in the borough with an ambitious five-year business plan to transform the sector.
With Property Sense, sellers can list their homes without paying a dime, and homeowners can also benefit from new real estate and letting agent pricing structures.
The estate agent opened its doors at its Exchange Street headquarters in Stockport this week.
Its ambitious five-year plan aims to bring 5,000 properties under its managed services and capture a commanding 70% market share with new online sales instructions.
Property Sense General Manager Alex Cunningham said: That’s insane! Especially considering how stressful and expensive the journey can be.
“Today marks the first day that the UK estate and agency industry will do things differently to benefit sellers, but it’s too late!
“We pride ourselves on simplicity, no hidden costs and no compromises. We combine the benefits of a high street estate agent with the benefits of an online agent through exclusive sales and We integrate it into our rental services to help everyone maximize their returns.”
“The time has come for hard-working British homeowners to reap the rewards of real estate, whether it’s selling, letting or managing a portfolio.”
So how does Property Sense make money?
The purpose of the agency is to generate income through other sources of income.
Property Sense has announced that it will pay UK homeowners the proceeds of the sale of their home and provide fully-funded property maintenance and repairs with a guaranteed rent.
Property Sense services handle home sales, rentals, and property management, with several separate real estate agent products available. The product includes an account manager who supports customers through the process from start to finish.
Property Sense also offers property management packages to its landlord clients that include fully funded property maintenance and repairs.
It is still unclear how much property management services will cost and what margins will be applied to property maintenance, repairs and rent guarantee services.
