Mr O’Leary said changing jobs too quickly could cause major concerns for employers.
“When I look at resumes and see people moving to other companies every four or five months, that’s a big red flag for me,” he said. “I want you to find commitment to your career and be fully committed to making it successful.”
O’Leary also commented on what the future of work will look like for most employees in the United States, calling in-house obligations outdated and counterproductive. He echoed comments from fellow billionaire Martha Stewart, who reinforced the idea that employers should give employees the option to work remotely or in a hybrid environment.
“The economy has fundamentally changed, and the problem with everyone having to work in an office is that you can’t hire the best people,” he said during an appearance on Fox. “Outnumbered and Outnumbered” Last June. “They want to work somewhere where they can do their job.”
