Subscription platform OnlyFans has become a lucrative service for creators to publish exclusive content and is booming among adult entertainers.
When we spoke to eight OnlyFans models about their annual income, the answers ranged from $143,000 to $5.4 million.
Bryce Adams was even better. $9.6 million annuallyshe told Business Insider.
“I have made over 300 videos,” she said at the time. “I like variety and am always looking for new things, so I’m not always aiming for the same thing.”

Adams is not the only one raising large sums of money. OnlyFans users spent more than $5.6 billion on the platform in 2022, and it had more than 3 million registered creators for about 250 million fans, according to the company’s latest tax filing.
OnlyFans creators can earn money in a variety of ways.
- Subscription: To unlock content, users typically pay a monthly or annual fee. The creator will keep his 80% of the subscription revenue and 20% will be donated to her OnlyFans. Creators can establish different subscription tiers and, in some cases, have accounts with free access. (Read more about how creators price their content. )
- Pay-per-view content: Feeds give creators the option of putting additional content behind a paywall, and users can purchase content (usually photos or videos) for an additional fee.
- Pay-per-view message: OnlyFans offers a direct messaging feature that allows fans to chat with creators. Fans typically pay a per-message fee or a flat fee to interact with creators, but they may also request personalized content in exchange for additional payments. Some creators are so overwhelmed by the volume of messages from subscribers that they rely on ghostwriters to respond to them. - Chip: Subscribers to OnlyFans pages also have the option of sending cash to creators in the form of tips. For example, Amber Sweetheart, whose OnlyFans business is based on personal connections with fans, says she has subscribers who come back regularly every day to interact and send tips. - Promotion “Scream”: Creators rely on marketing strategies to acquire new customers, such as buying and selling “shouts” to each other to advertise on OnlyFans and other social media platforms. For some, selling promotional content is big business, and they even hire assistants to manage their “shoutout” requests. - Coaching: For some creators, an important part of their business is Teach others how to use OnlyFans To earn a sustainable income.
- Live broadcast: Live streaming can be a great way for creators to build deeper connections with their fans. Live streams may be free to subscribers, or may be accessible for an additional fee. Some creators rely heavily on live streaming for income.

How much do OnlyFans models earn?
OnlyFans creators typically do not earn their income from a single source. Many take advantage of the various monetization options offered by the platform or earn income outside of the platform.
