Robert F. Kennedy Jr. joined the memestock movement and showed he was serious by investing in GameStop.
The political scion and presidential candidate gave his all to “.”Apes“in ×post This week, he cheered on individual investors who are trying to create a level playing field by reining in Wall Street.
Kennedy also supported their demands for market transparency, stricter regulation and tougher penalties for fraud.
“My administration will support the Ape Retail Rebellion and implement aggressive reform of Wall Street,” he said.
A veteran environmental lawyer told X that he “invested $24,000 in GameStop” with the money he received from suing Monsanto over the controversial Roundup herbicide.
“I really like the idea of getting Monsanto to back $GME and the Apes,” Kennedy wrote. “We need free and fair markets. Let’s punish the predatory short sellers to the moon. BTW, I’m with you on board and I’m not leaving.”
The post includes a knockoff of a movie poster from the Planet of the Apes series, featuring a picture of a politician and the tagline: “Apes are stronger together.”
