ah, Flappy Bird. It’s been ages since I last thought about the game-turned-cultural phenomenon that briefly gripped us all a decade ago. At least, that’s what I stumbled across this morning. Flappy Bird The game is the same as the original grayscale game. You can use the up button on the D-pad, the A button, or the crank to guide the bird between the pipes, but I opted for the latter, enjoying the extra challenge. It also feels like the perfect use of the crank, and I like to make the most of the Playdate’s funky design as much as I can. There are other games inspired by this one too.
