E3 is fast approaching in early June, and the event will feature a number of gaming showcases, including the Summer Game Fest, Xbox event, Ubisoft Forward, and Nintendo Direct. But Sony is ahead of them all with its PlayStation State of Play. It is set It will take place on Thursday, May 30th. It starts at 6pm ET and can be watched on YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok.
Interestingly, Sony is opting not to use the PlayStation Showcase branding it typically chooses for its annual late-May stream. The company hasn’t announced much about first-party PlayStation games for the coming months and years, and this is where it will start to flesh out its calendar.
The stream will last over 30 minutes and will showcase 14 titles coming to PS5 and PS VR2, including several PlayStation Studios games coming later this year.

Insomniac Wolverine The game is coming. Rumor has it, Silent Hill 2 A remake will also be introduced, but Konami may make it their own. Silent Hill Transmission Eventairing at 7pm ET after State of Play.
Hopefully Sony will finally make an announcement. Ghost of Tsushima 2 The timing makes sense, as a fantastic PC port of the original game was released this month. Fair Game$ And Firewalk Concorde A face reveal seems like a safe bet, but we’re sure to expect some promotion from Bungie for the expansion, “The Final Shape,” which concludes the tale of light and darkness. Destiny 2According to reports, a new Astro game by Team Asobi is on the way.
We know that Guerrilla is developing more Horizon universe games, there are rumors of a Lego spinoff, and Sony has a ton of other studios working on unannounced projects, including Housemarque, Bluepoint, Santa Monica Studio, Bend, Media Molecule, and of course Naughty Dog, so we’re hoping to hear some announcements from those studios.
