Wales and Scarlets scrum-half Gareth Davies has set up a new property company in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire.
The agency, called Black Bear, has just opened its first office on Quay Street.
Davies, who last year became the most try-scoring scrum-half in Rugby World Cup history, plans to go into real estate trading after his rugby career ends.
“The Black Bears are a very exciting opportunity for me,” Davis said. “I still have a few years left on the field, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned from professional sport, it’s that it’s never too early to start thinking about the future.”
“I intend to continue working within the family businesses, which include Cawdor Carrs and Davis Development, and I am very excited about my future post-rugby with Black Bear.”
Speaking after the launch, co-founders Barnett and Emily Jolly added: “We’d like to thank everyone who came along to our launch event. Our branding came across really well and with several properties already lined up for our full launch next week, we’re confident that Black Bear Properties will be here to stay for a long time to come.”
The Quay Street office will officially open on Monday 3rd June.
