Slitter HeadSilent Hill, a new, unusual title from Silent Hill series director Keiichiro Toyama, is set to launch on PC and consoles on November 8. A new trailer debuted today during the Summer Game Fest kickoff event, showing off a bit more information (and gore) than the original teaser we saw back in December 2021.
Slitter Head is a third-person action and horror experience with possession mechanics and a cast of giant, bug-like enemies to slice up. There seem to be hints of a detective storyline here, but the bulk of the new trailer is about punching, kicking, slicing, scratching and shooting hordes of giant monsters through dense city streets. It looks weird, creepy and incredibly satisfying.
Slitter Head It comes from Bokeh Studio, which was founded in 2020 by Toyama and other Sony veterans. Tatsuya Yoshikawa, character designer on Devil May Cry, Junya Okura, lead designer on Gravity Rush, Puppeteer Lead designer Kazunobu Sato is also involved in the project.

Slitter Head It will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PS5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
