Every year, airline ranking website Skytrax collects and analyzes thousands of customer satisfaction surveys to determine the best airlines from a range of around 350 airlines.
This year, Qatar Airways took the title of World’s Best Airline for 2024 from Singapore Airlines. It was also named Best Business Class Airline for the 11th consecutive year.
The win comes as no surprise, as Qatar Airways has a reputation for luxury at the front of the cabin.
Qatar Airways revolutionized premium flying with the introduction of its famous QSuites, the first suite-style business class with fully closing doors, and multiple cabin layouts are also available, including the first double beds and four-seater seats.
The QSuite is an industry-changing design that has raised the bar for premium seating around the world.
Other airlines, including Air India and British Airways, have since introduced their own hotel-like cabins and multi-person seating.
Still, travelers seem to prefer the original, and Qatar is taking it even further with the launch of “QSuite 2.0” later this year.
