Kostyuk wore the bridal look – a nod to the court-appropriate look – for the first time at Wimbledon 2024 when she beat Slovakia’s Rebekka Sramkova on Monday, and wore the same outfit when she beat Australia’s Daria Saville on Thursday and when her winning streak was ended by American Madison Keys on Friday.
Wilson’s dress featured a removable sheer overlay, which Kostyuk unbuttoned before stepping onto the court.

Like the wedding dress Kostyuk wore for her wedding to her now-husband, George Kizimenko, the tennis dress is sleeveless, semi-open back, with a diagonal V-neck and a sheer outer layer.

“I want people to look at this dress and think, ‘Wow, I could actually get married in this dress that she’s wearing,'” Kostyuk said.
Kostyuk said: trend Earlier this week, she said hiring Michael Off to design her wedding dress was a spontaneous idea.
Michael Off, who worked at Lululemon before joining the iconic tennis brand Wilson in 2020, came up with 12 designs before arriving at the final version: a silk organza dress with removable pieces of sheer fabric. According to Vogue, Kostyuk plans to remove the floral applique for the after-party.
“I wanted it to be easy to wear and really functional,” Michaeloff told Vogue, describing the dress, made from shimmering Italian fabric, as one of the “most technical wedding dresses ever made.”
“This dress has built-in trundles, just like a tennis dress,” she says, “so it fits like a match dress.”
She’s not the only female player making a splash at Wimbledon.
