If you’ve been waiting for a better way to run the Delta game emulator on your iPad, you’ve got good news: version 1.6, available now, adds support for the iPad. The latest update is a major one, introducing not only an iPad-optimized version of the emulator, but also seamless switching between iPhone and iPad, improved DS compatibility, new skins and menu button gestures, and a new logo (Delta had to retire its old logo after Adobe threatened to sue over its similarity to the company’s signature “A”).

It arrives just three months after Delta developer Riley Testut promised iPad compatibility, allowing for both full-screen play and multiple windows with Stage Manager and Split View. But before you run and download, heed the developer’s warning for the DS game: “This update is not compatible with existing DS save states.
