Withings is introducing the ScanWatch Nova Brilliant, a 39mm version of its smartwatch. It comes in titanium silver and a two-tone silver and gold colorway. If you have a smaller wrist, this watch should fit you better than the standard 42mm option.
This elegant timepiece combines analog and modern digital features. A small OLED screen on the top half of the watch helps you quickly check the time and can also display health indicators, but it comes with mechanical hands for a classic look. It’s also water resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM) and comes with a five-link stainless steel bracelet for increased outdoor durability. The battery lasts for 30 days, but there’s no information on charging times.
Withings has equipped this smartwatch with a medical-grade electrocardiogram to check for irregular heartbeats. The watch can also detect temperature fluctuations, blood oxygen levels, and breathing problems during the night to measure your sleep quality. When you pair the watch with the app, it can also count your steps, calories burned, elevation, and exercise routes via the app.
The Withings ScanWatch Nova Brilliant will be available from early November, and those who want to buy the watch directly can do so through selected retailers in the US, EU and UK. The new watches will be priced at $600, €600 and £550 respectively, the same price as the ScanWatch Nova.
