For example, another recently solved internet mystery:Everyone knowsAfter nearly three years of online research, two Reddit users heard a similar song in an adult film clip on YouTube and Literally hours of porn The song was presumably composed by the lyricist credited on the clip.
During the investigation, there was much speculation that the song was made by an AI or part of some kind of stunt, but if detectives were too distracted by that, or if someone was trying to “solve” the mystery by using an AI to create a similar song, the pair never looked at pornography; they were probably just embroiled in one too many online fights.
Celebrity Number 6 and “Everyone Knows That” are mysteries that predate the current generative AI craze by a little while, and thus likely avoided at least some of its effects. This is much more true for C6 than for “Everyone Knows That,” but it’s hard to imagine any new mysteries that have come along since then that will leave less disagreement about what’s real and what’s AI-generated.

The Republican House Judiciary Committee X account had a supposedly AI-generated image of Trump holding a duck and a kitten by what appears to be a lake.
Cat memes are trending in discussion forums. The cat-eating conspiracy theory gained even more traction on Tuesday night, when Trump said, “They’re eating dogs. They’re eating cats” during a debate with Vice President Kamala Harris. Visit TikTok They were placed next to images of people’s pets, including a meme of ALF, the alien comedy star who was famously always wanting to eat his cat. Take off.
Taylor Swift (and her cat) supports Kamala Harris. Lest you think the cat thing ended there, it didn’t. Just minutes after the debate ended, Taylor Swift (presumably) pulled out her phone and wrote an Instagram post denouncing AI misinformation and endorsing Kamala Harris. Swift signed it “Childless cat woman.” In the photo, she’s holding a cat. As of this writing, the post has over 10 million likes. Musk responded to Swift’s support, writing to X, “I get it, Taylor… you win… I’ll give you kids and protect your cat with my life.” He added a few hours later that “Toxoplasma is a danger to our democracy,” basically saying, Parasites It’s a virus carried by cats that can infect animals like rats. Not afraid of cats—We could reform the American government.
